I enjoyed this book, first one I have read by this author and the style was very easy to read. The story wasn't bad either, I thought it was going to be quite straightforward but there were some twists along the way and some new characters thrown in, it was actually very different to the way it had started.I wasn't thrilled with the ending I think it was a bit mean leaving things hanging as it were I'm trying hard not to give too much away so won't say too much but the ending does mean you are going to have to buy the next book to find out what exactly happens.I enjoyed this one so I will be doing just that.

To kill for was a faced paced read that kept me wanting more till the end. Read in one sitting, it was an enjoyable story broken down in short, easy to digest chapters. The ending leaves it very much open for a series although I can understand why people are disappointed with the way it is left. Enjoyable few hours spent with this book :)

Great read.

I did a little reccy on the "Kindle Free" section on Amazon recently, and downloaded a few freebies to read during a week off work.

There were a few amaterish efforts - but also a few diamonds in the rough, by authors that I would probably not otherwise have discovered. To Kill For falls into the latter category. Kept me wanting to read on (I think I read it in two days - which is fairly unheard of for me - as it normally takes me weeks to read a book because of distractions (a.k.a the television!)

Recommended reading - I will definitely pick up more from this author and in this particular book series in the future.

This is a short novel with a couple of twists but we are not left in suspense for very long. We know who is responsible for the first death, but it is the consequences of that death which form the basis of the story. What exactly happened to Jamie and where did she disappear to? There is potential to create a parallel story as Jamie becomes the victim of yet another murderous attack at a later stage, but sadly that opportunity is not taken up. That Jamie regains her memory without any great dramatic event does give more of a touch of reality than is often the case in novels, as is the fact that she is unable to hide the fact that she can remember things. This book is hard to categorise, it isn't really a mystery or a detective novel; no-one really does a great deal of investigation, the connections made are more coincidental than methodical. For all that, it is not a bad read despite being rather short. It is neither taxing nor demanding but is a way of entertaining oneself for the couple of hours that it takes to read.

I really enjoyed this book. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down. There were twists and turns in it to keep you guessing. The only thing I didn't like was the way it ended in mid conversation. It felt like the story should be continued in the next book, only having read the first few chapters of it in the preview at the end of the kindle book, the story does not continue! Still worth a read tho as it is a really good story, but in my opinion the ending could have been better.
