As a parent of three teenagers I constantly struggle to help my children have pertinent reference points in life around the things that are important and those that are not, for the long haul and this book has captured several of those themes beautifully. Bravo and thank you! It was shared with them as soon as I finished it.

My daughter Lana Thomas, aged 10, really liked the way this book has been put together. It is a lovely collection of different short stories and each one is interesting in its own right. Lana feels it is written really well and it seems to her that the author is reaching out to her as the reader. Her favourite story is the final one about Ming-Ming, because there is an unexpected twist to the story. She would strongly recommend this book to all her friends. She and I love the front cover!

Simona skillfully presents five intertwined stories of young, aspiring global citizens that may inspire children to develop an understanding for other people's lives which might be very different to their own.

Beautifully written and touching, this charming book tells the marvellous, adventurous and inspiring stories of children who live on the other side of the globe in a completely different and fascinating although sometime challenging world. Very educational and funny at the same time, this is the ideal present for your kids, little cousins or nieces and nephews at any time of the year!
