The sickening reality of their task leaches ominously into Archie, Daisy, and Isabella's shattered minds.
But they're not safe; Commissioner Stone will not give up his hell-bent attempt to detain the Heirs of Eden and plays his final hand...
On Havilah, Sue discovers a race of humans trapped in glass-like puddles, one of whom she thinks is Gus. If the Heirs of Eden fail, these trapped people are released. She begins to wonder where her allegiances lie. For if the Heirs triumph she will be stuck with only Kemp, Cain and the mysterious elfin servants and their magical companions for company. But on the other, she is aware of a great power building in her, one that may help deliver a safe, and happy world again.
With the end in sight, can Archie, Daisy and Isabella discharge their mission? Or will Cain and Kemp thwart them at the last moment and claim the Garden of Eden all for themselves?
All is revealed in the final instalment of Eden Chronicles; the search for the KEY of life.

About the author

EDEN CHRONICLES is a whirlwind Young Adult fantasy adventure series with dystopian overtones and a story that links the present day with the time before Adam and Eve. (It's eerily accurate in relation to the goings-on in 2020!)
Archie and his sisters are humankind's standard-bearers. Only they can save the world from a grizzly end by finding a series of clues and undertaking a series of tests that lead them into the fabled Garden of Eden where the key of life will be revealed.
A classic British fantasy series with a rich, multi-threaded story that twists and turns all the way to the final part, book six, THE KEY.
If you read Harry, Percy and the Narnia series, there's a pretty good chance you'll enjoy the Eden Chronicles.
There are seven books in James' Eden Chronicles series debut. They are:
- TRUTH (Prequel, a novella)
- Power and Fury
- Spider Web Powder
- Blabisterberry Jelly (or, The Chamber of Truth)
- The Dragon's Game
- The Eyes of Cain
- The Key
Also:
- Books Set 1 (Books 1,2,3) is a massive book-set of books one to three - paperback and digital!
- Books Set 2 (Books 4,5,6) digital only
James lived in London where he was a journalist before moving to North Yorkshire with his young family, and a large, blind, rust-coloured sausage dog called Rigby. These days, James writes day and night, fire-fighting his household and saving his now smaller Datsies from badger holes.
A keen cold-water swimmer and general health enthusiast, James works in a cabin by his swimming pond and has been known to emerge for school talks and the occasional lecture.
Find out more by joining James's author newsletter which you can get to at his website, jameserith.com where you'll find an exclusive version of the entire series in one big ebook.
James does do social media but, in his own words, 'it's rarely' and 'pretty badly'. If you do find him lurking on any of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or any others, send him a message to get back to his books.
His latest work, (due out 2021) is a time-travel thriller called "Time Stamp", which moves from the future to the past to save the present. Details are on his website.
