It is quite a small, fairly piercing RED laser but is fine in the size of presentation rooms I need it for.A solid but comfortable in hand device, I found it easy to connect, simple to use & reliable, in my experience to date.✓ Requires 2 x AAA batteries : SUPPLIEDooOoo❅ KENSINGTON WIRELESS PRESENTER with RED LASER POINTER❅ RANGE : 20 MFrom the box ~ ‘MAC® /WINDOWS® (WINDOWS 10 COMPATIBLE)~ REF : K33374EUB~ GUARANTEE : 3 year limited’‘Made in China’ooOooExactly as currently shown in the above stock images, the PRESENTER REMOTE™ arrived in a sturdy, slightly wedge-shaped cardboard box, measuring around 13 cm x 20 cm x 3 cm (max) with plastic-type moulding.There are two sealed flaps on the left-hand side of the box to facilitate opening without tearing, as I found out later!In the box is a multi-lingual INSTRUCTION GUIDE, with further detail available on-line, if required, although I didn’t find that necessary.The unit I received came with the English language laser radiation warning label in place, which can optionally be replaced by the eleven alternative language versions, supplied on a sheet.Supplied with 2 x AAA batteries, it is very simple to connect via the supplied USB with green indicator light showing good connection & power. The first time of connection the MacOS senses the presenter as a new keyboard, but this just needed 3 or 4 clicks through the questions.Measuring around 10 cm long x 4.5 cm (max) wide, the matte BLACK finish, hour-glass shaped, rigid plastic-type presenter has a solid feel and fits well in my hand. ‘KENSINGTON’ is subdued in small BLUE lettering.The function area is a SILVER circle of around 3.5 cm diameter. The left & right buttons on the presenter allow for forward & back scrolling through the presentation being delivered. There is a button to blank/refresh the screen, and the red button for the laser pointer.It has a stated maximum range of 20 m from presenter to USB.After use, the USB connector is removed and stored in the bottom of the presenter, clicking securely into place. Once the USB connector is secured in the bottom of the presenter the laser does not function, which I understand is for legal & safety reasons.To remove it again, simply press on the area of the three raised dots, as shown in picture 4 on page 3 of the booklet (last image below refers).[19 images attached]
