Bought this for a specific purpose but it just makes no difference to the display whatsoever. A complete waste of time and money. I'd like to give it no stars at all but Amazon don't give that option.

The design of the filter is very good but beware - its clamp arms do not stretch far enough to accomodate the surround of a Sony 17" TFT. I have had to return mine and order another type to fit my screen

Well made and easy to attach. Whilst it cuts down the glare you also get a reflection on the screen in certain circumstances so it's not 100% effective

I work in a busy office and deal with confidential information. The screen provides privacy at these times. If someone if approaching your desk it gives you the time to minimise the screen without anyone being the wiser about what you were working on. Unless someone is standing directly behind you they will not be able to view the information. Highly recommended.

Do not know the difference.

This product[[ASIN:B0006LCMC2 Kensington Shield TFT Anti-Glare Screen Protector Filter - Display screen filter - 17"]is well built, easy to fit and functions well as a screen protector, but its performance as an anti-glare screen is debatable as although the glare from the screen may be diminished, any benefit thus achieved is more than offset by the reflective properties of the screen, the operator and everything behind the operator being reproduced as an overlay on the images on the monitor.

I wanted an inexpensive product in case a screen didn't suit my eyes after Cataract surgery. I am so pleased to be able to say that I find this screen brilliant. It is restful for my eyes and so clear that you hardly know its there. Needless to say I am extremely pleased with it and can certainly recommend it.I hope this review is of help to others.

I bought this for work. It was very expensive for what it is and I wouldnt say it has made a huge amount of difference with the glare from the sun. Still undecided but I certainly wouldnt have paid that much for it myself.!
