To early to say whether reliability will be an issue, but so far so good & would certainly recommend this item to organise your business cards.
Now I've installed Windows 7 x64, and decided to resurrect the scanner, in the hope that the most recent software had improved things. This turns out to be unfortunate. The latest and greatest software version from Kensington's site (for Windows 7, software version 6.21) doesn't detect the scanner's existence and, judging from comments in search results, the likelihood is that PocketScan is simply not compatible with 64-bit Windows 7.
This is very disappointing, to say the least. It's a product that's still on sale, and yet it isn't compatible with current Windows versions.
I'm sure there are better business card scanners out there now. I certainly wouldn't recommend this one.
