She captures the spirit of the Celts
on 27 September 2013 - Published on Amazon.com
I first picked up this book shortly after it was written, as part of my fascination with Arthurian and Celtic legends - Irish, Welsh, Cornish, and Manx. All those threads are here, in her Keltia. I was captivated from the first by this book and went on to read the entire series many times. Patricia Kennealy (Morrison as I later found out) described what I always felt Celtishness was about; honor, family, learning, love of the land. The Kelts, in addition to this, have space travel and magic. What lover of Celtic lore could resist such a combination? And the woman can write, people. She has a wonderful way with descriptions of places, people, situations, and the surround; all you need to provide is the mental soundtrack (something stirring!) If you have never read any of this series, here is where you can start. If it's been a while, read them again.
