Smart, Sharp and Informative

As a guy, purchasing a book like this is frankly kind of intimidating. We aren't really big on being told what to do, certainly not fans of being told what we are doing wrong. This book is neither of those things. It's a great read with advice that doesn't offend, rather, enlightens and educates. Cat takes a smart approach to sex education and enlightenment, finding a middle ground with sharp humour. I imagine most people could benefit from this text, man or woman, and at this purchase price it's a no-brainer.

Bought this for my boyfriend to read after reading it myself and I learned new things too! It has really revitalized our relationship together. Not just sexually either! Your intimacy in general will be completely different after finishing this book, highly recommend!
A good, quick read

A good, quick read, nicely presented. Conversational style writing makes this feel a bit different from other self-help or advice stuff I've read covering similar topics. Definitely not a pick-up guide, or a how-to-get-laid guide, unless you're looking to get laid more at home lol, which is the point here. Maybe a bit too short, but does cover a lot of ground in a short volume. Author gives multiple shout outs to Ian Kerner (She Comes First: The Thinking Man's Guide to Pleasuring a Woman (Kerner)), which, for me, adds credibility. Recommended.
As sex books go

As sex books go, this was a fun read. Some great pointers in here, and I can actually imagine reading this with my girlfriend. It's not flowery, at all, which is decent. Kind of like having a chat with an actual woman who knows what she's talking about.

She tells it like it is

This book is a guys guide but its written by a woman, not a therapist or anything, a straight woman, writing for straight men. That's great. She's also very blunt, especially using different straight-forward terms (that I won't list in my reviews). I like that she writes "We love sex, and we’re learning that it’s healthy and perfectly fantastic for women to love sex. All that’s missing is an in-touch partner to help us realize our sexual selves," because it's true. If you blush at sex, this book may be needed by you. I think it is for both men and women, but its addressed to men. It's a journey into the truth behind closed doors, and it talks about things that decades ago, no one talked about, not even with their partners. It's a book worth reading, for information or just curiosity.
