My older sister read FERNO to me when we were on holiday and that inspired me to read more of the Beast Quest books. I am pleased with myself because I have never read a whole set of books before in my life because I am dyslexic. Your books make me want to read.

I have outgrown Horrid Henry and my friend told me about these books! I like your books because they are very exciting.

About the Author

Adam Blade is in his late twenties, and was born in Kent, England. His parents were both history teachers and amateur artists, and Adam grew up surrounded by his father's paintings of historic English battles - which left a lifelong mark on his imagination. He was also fascinated by the ancient sword and shield that hung in his father's office. Adam's father said they were a Blade family heirloom.

As a boy, Adam would spend days imagining who could have first owned the sword and shield. Eventually, he created a character - Tom, the bravest boy warrior of them all. The idea for Beast Quest was born.

When Adam grew up and decided that he wanted to be a writer, he was stuck for ideas - until he remembered the old sword and shield, and the imaginary boy he had created when he was young. Adam decided to bring Tom fully to life so that readers could go on the kind of adventures that he always wanted to when he was that age... And still does, even though he's grown up!

When he's not writing Beast Quest and Sea Quest books, Adam enjoys visiting museums and ancient battle sites. His main hobbies are fencing and football. He also spends a lot of time at home running around after his two exotic pets - a tarantula named Ziggy, and a capuchin monkey named Omar. These little rascals were the inspiration for two of the Beasts that Tom faces on his Quest - Arachnid and Claw.

A good book, a bit more or the brutal gorey side. People and and animals getting gnawed and slashed, and even a drowning. We like the way Tom is putting his powers together, and turning into a proper little warrior. Not gust a child with a sword and a shield against evil monsters. The action and meeting with the beast came a lot earlier in this book making it slightly different. May on was definitely a much more vicious beast, but not that much more of a threat then something like Naga, but my kids loved this book as much as the others, good action, heroics, magic and sacrifice. On with the quest!!

I think that this quest started a bit early on so therefore it wasn't the best possible book to have read. I liked the way that Kaymon turned into three beasts not just stay as one big heavy beast and I also liked the part in this book when Kaymon was giving chase to Tom when he was down in the dungeons behind the tapestry those were SOME of my favourite parts of this book🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🗽🎸🎸🎸😁🎸🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇🏇(the horses to represent storm)🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

This is another very exciting adventure as brave Tom and Elenna have to fight off a monstrous hound called Kaymon, which can magically split into three under threat.

We are in the dark realm in this book, a more frightening and violent place than the original series. The detail of the location is again well done with a ruined, sinister castle and a crazed evil wizard.

Suitable for young readers from six up, with illustrations; if they don't mind scary stories.

Amazing quality & price for a book. I bought as used but it is such good condition it could easily be brand new. My 6 year old is loving the Beast Quest series and is devouring a book a day in the holidays, hence me opting for used. I am unbelievably impressed with this seller and the quality of the product. Would not only recommend but would use again myself.

I am writing this review with my 6 year old son who is a big Beast Quest fan. He feels that this is a very good instalment of the Beast Quest series, above average. He thinks that it's a nice touch that Kaymon (the beastly foe) can divide into three when she jumps or is in danger. Overall I'd recommend the BQ series as a good way of enticing boys to read. My son has these as bedtime stories and often reads on alone after lights out!
