Well it's been around 6 years or so since The Katmen released their fantastic debut album and the wait for their follow up album has been well worth it!!
Not that it needs it but this CD gives the Rockabilly / Rock 'n' Roll genre a breath of fresh air and a modern edge whilst still having that familiar sound that we all know and love.
Darrel Higham is on top form as always and is accompanied by the top drawer talents of Slim Jim Phantom on drums and Al Gare on bass.
It's also nice to hear the wonderful voice of Mrs Higham (Imelda May) and her Sister on backing vocals.
Every track on this CD is a winner but at this moment in time my two favourites would be "All In Good Time" and "I'll Make It Right If I Can".....Ask me next week and my choices might be different, as on this CD there is no padding out with filler. Every track screams quality.
A nice surprise is a re-visit to the track "The Love's All gone" from Darrel's solo CD (and my personal favourtie) "Ghost Of Love".

Anyway, give yourself a treat and purchase this CD. You won't be disappointed!

We really enjoyed this CD - much better than the first Katmen CD. Really catchy songs, amazing guitar riffs, fresh drum and bass beats, all supported by brilliant Darrell Higham vocals and backing from Imelda May. One of the best new rock'a'billy albums in years. Well done Katmen.

A fantastic slice of contemporary rock and roll. - I have only recently got into the rock and roll / rockabilly thing and find new bands hit and miss compared to the older scene. I found out about Darrel and Al through the Imelda May connection and Slim Jim through the Stray Cats and Brian Setzer solo stuff. I was very intrigued to hear this off the back of their earlier album which is good. The tunes are classic rockers and the musicianship is superb. The production quality of the album is top notch and cuptures the feel of the three guys having a ball in the studio. If you do get a chance to catch them live then do they rocked Sheffield earlier this year.

Great song, from a great album, from a great band. Catch them live if you can, great to hear some new, fresh rockabilly sounds.

Slim Jim - legend
Darrell Higham - great guitar and vocals
Al Gare - great bass player.

Good backings from Imelda and her sister as well.

At long last a decent record label and a fine release hard to beleive that Darren is able to release an album of rockabilly in these modern times.
A great album by three very accoplished musicians.

Rated as such, because it really fulfils a Rock-A-Billy fan's requirements, fully deserves a five star rating, and not only that, has a member of The Stray Cats on-board, So what more can you ask for, Great.

As always Darrell Higham is singing brilliantly with a good selection of songs and the backing Vocals from Imelda add an extra bit of quality. The whole band are masters of their craft.
