Katie Kirby is a social media strategist/writer/drawer/greeting card maker and lives by the sea in Hove with her husband and two young sons. She is 36 years old yet still feels about 19. Unfortunately she looks 36.
She has a first class honours degree in Advertising and Marketing, which she largely tributes to her life skill of bullshitting rather than intelligence or hard work. After spending several years working in London media agencies, which basically involved hanging out in wanky restaurants and doing even more bullshitting, she had some children.
The children were NOT like the ones you see in Boden catalogues and Katie decided to start a blog about the gross injustice of it all.
Some people liked the blog and said it was funny, other people called her an offensive, fowl mouthed alcoholic who can’t even draw. She views all of those things as compliments (apart from the drawing one – RUDE!).
Anyway bla, bla, bla, she won some awards, bla, bla, bla, she wrote a book, bla, bla, bla, etc etc.
Apparently In this section you might also like to learn more about Katie’s personal preferences? No? Tough…
Katie likes gin, rabbits, over-thinking things, the smell of launderettes and Monster Munch.
She does not losing at board games or writing about herself in the third person - it makes her feel sick.
