All six of my e-books were adapted from my Sea Penguin blog http://seapenguin-thecurioussheep.blogspot.co.uk/ It attracted a steady readership from its beginnings in 2008 and it was favourably reviewed in Scottish literary magazine NorthwordsNow in their Spring 2011 edition. Readers have commented that the characters are engaging and the books are very funny.
I've edited and published books 1 - 4 as a 230 page paperback - 'Seapenguin'. Books 5 and 6 have been combined and edited similarly, together with a previously unpublished story in another slightly smaller paperback volume, Seapenguin (2) Three Tales of Woe.
I live in Perthshire, Scotland and I'm now working on a novel based in the Highlands, and more stories. For a number of years I also contributed to Shortbread Stories website (www.shortbreadstories.co.uk) and one of my stories was included in their Anthology 'Short Breaks'. I've been published in local literary magazines and more recently in online magazines in the United States.
My writing is inspired by anything that I find in my immediate surroundings. I go out walking every day, and generally record this on my blog and on Youtube. I'm especially fond of animals and nature.
