Now for the cons, the leather is rather soft & I've already taken several chunks of leather off the toe of the boot. As a plumber I spend alot of time working on my knees so the front of the boot does take a pounding. I don't understand why more work boots don't have better protection on the outside of the toe, I guess it makes them look unsexy!
It colours up well using a darktan boot polish and a spit and polish brush off technique. My wife loves hers as well. A really sturdy boot with a good grip sole and a protective concealed lightweight metal toe cap to safeguard the front of the foot if caught by an impact from an unexpected incident.Thick oversocks advisable as normalwith outward bound usage I'd invest in some neutral coloured "Dubbin" as needed in wet conditions. Well done Karrimor, excellent product, never found better value in boots before!APA
25/04/2013, Since the above review one of the lace hooks broke off. I tie the laces round the ankle now. They still look alright though and they have withstood a fair bit of scuffing so far.
I'm obliged to use safe it boots in the construction site, so i was very surprise with the confortable part of this boots. At the end of the day i don't feel hurt from my feet.
nice padding on ankle
Not getting much callus of feet
After 4 months one of the boots soles basically bubbled up and is falling apart. (2 stars because of this)
Slippy sole when wet.... very slippy. I would buy a new pair if I had to constantly work in a wet area.
£60 ???? that's crazy. I paid 28, these are same as the dunlop ones in sportsdirect at £30.
would have expected more comfort from karrimor (but they are comfy, I just expected more from the name)
laces are too long, either dangle on floor and get wrecked or put them inside and they find their way under your feet.
Final note; £30 - definitely buy, 45 - ye probably, 60... no.
Not dropped anything yet. but think they can withstand something falling.

Nice when they arrived. Not built to last. Not a very good work boot. Sole split on both pairs. Wouldn't buy them again.Published 23 months ago by melissa hudson bond
Very good price and quality. Arrived quickly. I should review again in 6 months to see how long they lased. The Dewault ones are double the price but these are as good.Published on 21 Dec. 2013 by martin higgins
