I am now intermediate, that means I have to be prepared to move on from the mantras I was taught a year ago, like third plays high!
He is obviously world class, and there are loads of examples, which I find is the way to learn.
I bought this after LOTT, maybe this is more useful.

Following a recommendation I have this book about a year. It has post it notes sticking out all over the place and lots of highlighted pieces, especially in the early chapters. It's so well written: easy to follow with well laid out examples and a summary of the main points at the end of each chapter. It's got lots of genuinely amusing comments throughout.

It's one of my favourite books. Initially, I found it quite challenging but even without taking in and remembering all the defence aspects it deepened my reading of the cards generally. With more experience I now get more from each reading. Bridge - what a game!!
