About the Author
Yasuo Kuwahara trained as a Japanese fighter pilot for a kamikaze squadron during World War II. Gordon T. Allred is a professor of English at Weber State University, where he has taught for more than four decades. He is the author of more than20 books, including "Please Bless Marilyn" and "Shannon." He is the recipient of the Utah Fine Arts Creative Writing Award and the Utah Author of the Year award. He lives in Ogden, Utah.
