Movie star Mitch is looking for a way to stop the gay rumours surrounding him, and he finds it when he meets Kiona. When Mitch proposes a marriage of convenience Kiona agrees as it will get her father off of her back. Her father doesn't approve of her boyfriend Nakolo, so this seems to be an ideal smokescreen that will allow her to continue seeing Nakolo in secret. What no one expected was the attraction and chemistry between all three of them. Things get even more complicated when a photographer discovers their secrets and takes a photo that could ruin their lives.
I really liked both Kiona and Nakolo but I wasn't as keen on Mitch, it took me quite a while to warm to him. The dynamics between the three characters was fascinating and I enjoyed reading about their relationship. This is an entertaining book that receives four out of five stars.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.
This is a very hot read - in a wonderful tropical setting. I highly recommend you sit down with an iced drink, and probably a fan, or the AC on full. Transported to this beautiful beachside resort where three very beautiful people discover just how good threesomes can be ... Given that that Mitch and Kiona were supposed to marry to increase their 'proper' and 'upright' status this is likely to have repercussions - but wow, fiery, volcano hot in the meantime. I really enjoyed this for its great escapism value. The author has a definite talent with helping the reader visualise exactly what is happening ... ice drink needed!

Three people...three depraved plans...one inferno of scandalous pleasures.
Movie star Mitch Wulfrum is tired of deflecting the gay rumors buzzing around him. It's time to take drastic measures--marry the first trophy wife he can get his hands on. And beautiful sugarcane princess Kiona 'Alohi fits the bill.
Kiona can't believe her luck when Mitch offers a name-only marriage. Her overbearing father is dangling her trust fund over her head so she’ll dump her oh-so-sexy, but unsuitable lover, Nakolo. A bogus marriage to Mitch will net her both money and love, even if she can only have Kol on the sly.
What she doesn't expect are the sexual sparks that fly between her and Mitch, or, when Kol catches them together, the heat that flares between the two men. One wild encounter after another fans the flames, until they begin to dream that all three of them could have everything they ever wanted--and more.
A fragile web of lies and deceit are all that keep their wanton secrets from erupting into the public eye. Trouble is, one scheming photographer named Anjelee has already clicked the shutter that could ruin all their lives.
I'll come right out and say it: I enjoy a great love triangle but when it comes with few problems and more drama than a soap opera that could rival 'The Days of Our Lives', I have a tendency to want to avoid them. When I picked up this book, I knew I was in for something different - this is the first time that I've had the opportunity to read a book written by Josie Jax and it was a different kind of writing style than I was used to. This is the type of story that made me want to re-read certain parts twice just to make sure that I truly understood and correctly read the scene before me. Kiona, our girl of the hour, has one major problem - her father has control over her trust fund and she can't escape his clutches without it; until she leaves her current lover, there is no chance for either. Mitch, an actor, is plagued by rumours of being gay and needs to change the image if he wants to continue his career. With the help of his PR agent, boMitch and Kiona find the perfect solution: a marriage in name only. What the two hadn't expected was to feel a physical attraction for one another or that Kiona's lover, Kol, would be a factor, even a key player in the relationship when Mitch feels the pull between him and Kol. As the bond between the three strengthens, the cutthroat business that is Hollywood threatens to uncover and call them out on their secret. Now, as hot as this book was, because Josie Jax really knows how to write scenes that were appealing to the 'eyes' in the many menages M/M, M/F, M/M/F, M/F/M, I have to point out that I had some difficulties getting into the book and connecting with the characters - not because they weren't believable or the story wasn't interesting but rather the style was one that I'm not used to associating to this genre. Where Josie Jax was lyrical and beautifully spoken/written, I'm used to reading more gritty or sometimes more to the point phrases/styles (street talk). All that being said, I still enjoyed Josie Jax's Kabana Wild and I'm wildly curious to find out what else she has in store for her next book.

By chance I came across this duet which immediately piqued my interest, two stories interconnected around one man Mitch Wulfrum a Holly wood heartthrob trying to deflect rumours and decides to get married. I knew I was for in for a bumping interesting read. As there is so many possibilities when it comes this story and I loved the concept the author had with these two stories.
Kabana Wild is the first in the series and introduces to most of the players as we watch Mitch take a trophy wife and instead gets more then he bargains for . Go to Kabana Island , get married and problem solved. That all he needs to do , Jager got it all sorted. It all simple
Except Kiona isn’t exactly what he expected in a good way and she isn’t willing to meet his terms.. He never thought he would be interested in his trophy wife who was determined to let life go on as normal with out her father in control. Her father Heloki has controlled all areas of her life since he made it rich and became a sugar cane tycoon. He expected the best for his daughter and holds over her head, her trust fund wanting her to marry some successful.
Mitch fits the picture, problem solved, right but things aren’t that simple. She love in with Nakolo’ Kol’ the boy she grew up with the foreman of the sugarcane fields, a man her father thinks is unsuitable to say the least. Kiona is stuck between two worlds, wanting to obey her father and do her duty and wanting Kol and have a simple life.
Until they all meet and things get interesting fast and things get complicated fast. One wild encounter isn’t going ot be enough for these three with the heat that is waiting to explode between them.
Could they all have it all?
I loved the concept as I love a good cliché novel but this was different. She took the cliché and made it her own, spinning her own version that would make any ménage lover happy. As her work was cut out giving these three an happily ever after. The tension was there and the sex was electrifying but there was the distrust and the fact her father wasn’t going to let her little girl go that easily.
Throwing a little interesting secondary plot involving a sexy photographer named Anjelee who was getting on Jagger neve’s a little too much, leaving readers to wonder what is going to happen in the next book.
