This item was ordered on 17th Jan 2024 and delivered the next day. It was securely packaged and, once I had unpacked it, my first impression was that it appeared robust and well made. The instructions were clear and informative and with a high standard of English language.
I purchased the product with the intention of testing the electrical circuit that I plan to use to trickle charge my electric vehicle. Potentially a big job for a relatively inexpensive and small device. I firstly tested it on several domestic appliances e.g. bedside lamp, toaster and kettle. The meter device worked perfectly and gave, what appeared to me to be, accurate readings (I was unable to independently check the readings but they were in the range that I would expect for those devices). I have subsequently checked the meter on my car and once again it has given readings within the expected range.
I have not used the meter to calculate the cost of electricity used so make no comment on that function.
I have the backlit display version of the meter and found it very easy to read the display in a variety of lighting conditions (e.g. in well a lit room and in a darkened room).
Having read adverse comments on other similar, but cheaper, devices I did not have great expectations, but based on my experience in using the meter several times in a fairly short period of time I have no hesitation in recommending it to other buyers.
