Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish
A short story of two witches who enter a TV Cookery contest, who rival not only to win, but also for the affection of the host. Chaos ensues from start to end with a lovely little twist in the tale.
Would highly recommend; a definite read.

Seasoning of the Witch is a delightful surreal story about a Witch, Selina. Selina is a culinary witch that bakes up trouble and wacky situations. Morrigan is her nemesis and tries to thwart Selina’s every move.

As over the top as “Bewitched” was, Seasoning of the witch is just as hilarious. Cauldron Cove is the setting for a competitive bake off and duelling witches. This novella has so much personality of its own that I wished it was a full length novel.

Not since the late great Roald Dahl has there been such a variety of truly bizarre and glorious tales. This is book number six in the series, but each tale is a stand alone. You can either read in order or pick and choice which tale inspires you. I am starting from the beginning with what is soon to be my favourite series.

One of the great joys of Kensington Gore's Twisted Tales is the sheer exuberance of the stories. They're utterly unique, like a Hammer film performed by the Carry On cast, and this story is no exception. The tale of two witches who go mano-a-mano in a television baking contest contains laughs and chills aplenty as their rivalry causes increasing amounts of collateral damage. Kenny, Graeme Parker and KA Hambly have come up with an honourable addition to the rapidly-expanding Gore ouvre. Great fun.

This is a bewitching little read, just the right length. Kensington Gore and K. A. Hambly paint the characters and the settings well, evoking a clear visual scene in your head as you read. The humor and suspense draw you into the conflict. And the resolution will delight you.

This is #6 in Kensington Gore's Twisted Tales series and is, I think, the best yet. Written with all the inimitable humour you would expect from Gore and his writing partners this latest tale is a superbly funny romp. It tells the story of two witches, once good friends but now rivals. They both enter a televised cookery competition and their rivalry now comprises not only winning the competition but winning the affections of the host of the contest. As you might expect, chaos ensues and all manner of things are let loose.

The pace is fast and furious and it reminded me, affectionately, of a story in the best tradition of Whitehall farce. I won't give away any more of the plot - you need to read it for yourself. Suffice it to say that the twist at the end of this particular tale is funny and heart-warming.

Download it today - you won't be disappointed.
