Being a Punjabi Sikh I had heard about this murder. The book was very well written and very factual. I read it in two days. I hope that mithu finds the answers he is looking for and that the murderers
are sent to India. She does deserve justice

Fantastic book. Really is disturbing that this kind of thing still happens in the asian communities. Poor Jasdi didnt stand any chance of happiness with her despicable family. R.I.P. Jassi & hats off to her husband for keeping the fight up for justice for his beloved wife. The mom & uncle deserve to rot in jail for their evil part in all of this

A very heart felt book which is still happening to this day. Asian people who move away to the Western World want to keep the same principles as they had in their homeland and can't except changes. Some family can't except young people going out of their caste and take things in their own hands even killing someone close to them.
There are many books I have read through the years to do with women's issues.
"SHAME" is another book, but was able to get away from her own family but was disowned but made a life for herself.
