This is the first book I have read from this author and it was a very pleasant and easy to read romance.

Ashlynn and her three friends travel to Myrtle Beach for the summer break. Although they all have different personalities, Ashlynn and her friends are very close and loyal to each other. Ashlynn has been avoiding getting into a relationship since, she broke up with her cheating boyfriend four months ago. She intends to relax and have fun during this one month summer break without getting emotionally involved with anybody.

Chase and his friends are staying in the beach house next door to the girls. He is the good looking rich guy, whose main purpose is to have fun in every aspect of his life. He has the bad boy reputation who doesn't think anything of walking away from the girls he sleeps with and then moves on to another. When he sees Ashlynn for the first time and their eyes lock, he experiences a feeling, which he has never felt before.

Whilst Ashlynn and her friends are sunbathing on the beach, Chase and the boys decide to ask them to spend time with them on his boat. A lot of flirting goes on and Ashlynn is determined to safeguard her heart whilst Chase thinks to have a good time. The more they interact with each other the closer they get, even when telling themselves that it is just a summer holiday fling.

This novella contains drama, the feeling of betrayal, the sense of loss and despair, together with lots of loving. At the end of the month, Chase has to return to his home town to continue his training as a Racing Driver and Ashlynn has to go back to finish her studies.

Will they be able to maintain a long distance relationship?

Another great and HOT-tastic read from author Danielle Jamie...
I was hooked with her potty mouthed and seriously delicious stories from the beginning starting with her Savannah Series, so I jumped at the opportunity to snag a copy of this book to read and review!!!

Get ready to fall in love with Chase, Ashlynn and all their friends!
Just For The summer is a short, summery, sexy read, prepping all us bookaholics in time for the release of her FULL novels in this series next year....

"In every girls life; there's a boy she'll never forget and a summer where it all began. ~ Unknown. "
As with any book there is always the good, the bad, the ugly, and the evil...
Having spent the last 4 months alone since she caught her boyfriend cheating on her in their hotel room, she is back to the beach and looking to have some fun....with who....that is another question??

What started off as a summer fling became so much more.
This is one summer that will change Ashlynn’s and Chase’s lives forever.

What happens when summer is over?
How do they just walk away and forget?

I loved reading this Novella it's a great start to the series cant wait to read more...

Summer loving happened so fast ..... Yes stuck in my head with this amazing book. I loved it from the first page to the end where my tears fell. It just shows love can happen during the summer break, but in reality it can go all pear shape. But Danielle made it seem so real, I loved Chase pictured him through it all.

How long till 2015 now?? I need more fix of Chase. Need to go to America and find my Summer loving.

There is so much I could say about this book but I can't put them into words except Wow, I loved it and I can't wait for more.

4½ Sizzling Summery stars

I was really excited going into this book, because:

1. For the first time, I had no preconceived ideas about this book. Previous books my Danielle have always come highly recommend and at times this leads to people revealing the emotions of a book i.e heartbreaking etc

2. The cover and title of this book just screamed, Sunshine and Holiday/Vacations and lets face it, nearly everyone loves sunshine and holdays.

I wasn't wrong on the holiday factor, because this short read tells the story of Ashlynn Myers, 19 and her 3 friends deciding to spend 4 weeks of the summer in a beach house in Myrtle Beach. She has not long split from her previous boyfriend, who she caught cheating and since then dating has not been her main priority.

Chase Kenzington and his 3 friends are spending time in the beach house next door and from the very beginning, the sexual chemistry between Ashlynn and Chase was hot enough to melt the polar ice caps. Chase, who is also an up and coming NASCAR driver, has always been a player, but there's something about Ashlynn that has him thinking commitment isn't so unappealing.

Chase and Ashlynn embark upon a relationship and while both are fully aware that this will be just for the summer, neither one expects to have such strong feelings for the other, making the thought of walking away and returning home at the end, heartbreaking.

There's definitely a feel good/summery vibe to this book. Its sweet, fun and scorching and would make a great read for anyone taking a holiday/vacation. Athough you could read this anytime and still enjoy it.

If i'm brutally honest, the story wasn't particularly drama filled or intense enough for me to give it the full five stars.
