With the example of Mia's sister's marriage to his best friend, Ross decides to use dominant male tactics, called Domestic Discipline in this novel, to win Mia back. Mia is intelligent and independent, so the idea of her lover as an authority figure is offputting. But Mia is also honest with herself, and has always found herself sexually aroused by the idea.
The characters in Just Right for Me are well developed and well rounded. They're real people, not cut outs. The situation is believable for a woman of today (which tends to be important to me as a reader, dang it!). Mary Wehr can write-so things move along at a good pace, and there's some HOT spankings and HOTTER sex....
Go buy it.
This is a very well-written book, full of romance, erotic encounters, and spankings. Believe me, Mia deserves every one she gets, and Ross isn't hesitant to dole them out when her behavior merits it. Neither has been in a domestic discipline relationship before, but after seeing their good friends' success with it, they find they want to try. Once this decision is made, they're each too stubborn to let it end.
Domestic discipline works well for Mia and Ross, and they find their happy ever after – not to mention a sweet pet kitten.
I recommend this book by Mary Wehr. If you enjoy Blushing Books or Bethany's Woodshed, you'll love Just Right for Me, and even if you're not familiar with those publishers, the romance in this delightful story will keep you coming back for more.
Mia and Ross broke off their engagement years earlier, because of a failed communication, and some mean sabotage by a spiteful woman. Instead of talking it out, they argue, and Ross leaves- for good.
When he comes back to town for his Aunt’s funeral, Ross starts putting the pieces of his life back together, starting with Mia.
He brings her back into a relationship, but this time a DD one, much like his best friend, Jason and his wife, Becky. He knows Mia still loves him, and is not taking “no” for an answer. This means plenty of time over his knee!
The issue of starting a DD relationship from scratch was a bit harder to realize. But that made it more realistic.
There were a few times, I would have liked to have seen more insight in Ross’s mind, and also a bit more explanation into Mia’s injured past.
But as a DD story, where the man brings this to the woman, I liked it.
It was well done, and had an engaging plot, tender romance, and great spanking.
I would love to read a story about the secondary characters, Jason and Becky. I really liked these secondary characters, and connected very easily with them.
Ross has walked away once and won't do it again. Wanting Mia back, he is willing to do whatever it takes to win her back. I love his cool manner, he acts as if receiving a spanking is an everyday thing. Watching his emotional turmoil as he works towards starting fresh with Mia and watch Mia heal from childhood wounds is inspiring.
Just Right For Me is an amazing story about healing. I love watching Mia learn to trust Ross again. I highly recommend this story to anyone that is new to Domestic Discipline because Mary Wehr captures how people may it see perfectly. Wonderful story!
