Although I liked it, I feel it was a bit rushed. We didn't get much on Lo and Parker's past, which I think was needed to connect with them.

It's written well, and flows perfectly, my biggest hang up.....a cliffhanger, and absolutely no mention in the back of the book of the 2nd parts release date!!!

I'm starting to dislike cliffys and general breaking a full novel up into bite sized pieces. I'd rather pay a bit more for a full book and not have to wait for who knows how long for the remainder of the story. It's happening a lot lately, and the problem is, I read ALOT, so if I have to wait weeks or months between books, it means I have to go back and re-read the 1st book so I can remember it. If this keeps happening, shirt stories will no longer be in my TBR, and they will become forgettable. It's a shame as this was a good read, but I'm not willing to wait to find out what happens, as I will have moved on to the next book by later today, and probably won't remember to keep looking for part 2.

Sorry, but just 3 stars which are mainly for the writing style, and general idea of the story. I would recommend, but only if you can get it cheap, and would say don't bother untill the next part is already out.

4.0 out of 5 stars How could it end like that?!?! 14 Feb. 2015

Parker and Lauren are explosive!!
Lauren and Parker are childhood frienimies who never took the time to admit their true feelings before Parker high tailed it out of town. When brought together by meddlesome family they explode in love/lust. Still afraid to come to terms with her abandonment issues Lauren and Parker walk away this time from each other. When Lauren's anticipated future continually falls apart in front of her what can she do...but accept an offer that will bring an end to some very long running despair. She intends to just walk away at the end but will she??? Even I can't answer that yet!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Unfinished closure.... 31 Jan. 2014

What can I say about the book and this new author I found as free. I love their love story and how Annica goes back in both Parker and Lo's thoughts of what happen to them when they were young teenagers. Thanks to Parker's aunt and uncle they bring them back together as they knew there was something between the two years ago. Parker never got Lo out of his heart let alone from under his skin. She was the only person her truly loved that was unconditional. They argued, teased, fought during the summers when they were together but that was Parker's way of being with Lauren. He feels so guiltily not being there for Lauren when her mom gets sick, and since he can not fix it this time he runs and has been running ever since. Once they get together again it is like they have not been apart. The electricity is still there. When Parker finds out the problems Lauren is having wit the Inn he wants to help but pride stands in the way and Lauren will not take his help. Parker being Parker does the only thing he knows, he fights dirty and gives Lauren a way to keep the Inn plus he gets what he wants....Lauren. I could keep going but then I would give the rest of the book away. If you are looking for a new author to add to you list please read this book. I hope you like it as much as I do. I give it 5 stars.
5.0 out of 5 stars Left me wanting more... 3 Jan. 2014

I found this book scrolling through Facebook as an ad. At the time I didn't own a tablet. I anxiously awaited for my shipment to arrive and downloaded it the first night and began to read. I could have read the whole thing that night as i didn't want to put it down. But I chose to pace myself and make it last. I finished it last night and already want MORE! Can't wait for the next one. Kudos to Annica! Not only do your writing skills mesmerize me but you are a very sweet person. Can't wait to meet you!

Lo and Parker burn it up! The chemistry between the two is so strong you can almost feel it! You know how in a good book you wish you could jump in it? That's how I felt...course then I would be jealous of Lo! Lol!

Living in Michigan and also a Spartan..I loved the references! I love Traverse City..I could easily envision her hotel/bed and breakfast. :)

Looking forward to book #2! This author is on my watch list for 2014! Thanks Annica!
