The JURA IMPRESSA Z7 offers the most demanding coffee aficionado a variable, simple and individual experience. The striking design with a stylish aluminium finish is an elegant statement of luxury, sophistication and outstanding craftsmanship.
A graphic display and rotary switch allows for easy, intuitive programming and operation of the IMPRESSA Z7. Product selection is quick and convenient with clearly illustrated buttons on the main display and further options easily accessible with the rotary switch. Once the desired speciality has been selected the machine quietly and expertly prepares an espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato or any of 11 specialities. One Touch technology means you can select your drink and enjoy the performance as there is no need to move the cup or assist - the IMPRESSA Z7 does it all for you. The volumes, temperature and coffee strength of every drink can be customised exactly to your liking: choose from 5 programmable coffee strength levels, 3 brewing and 3 hot water temperatures. Hot water and steam are produced by 2 separate thermoblocks which efficiently deliver steam and hot water only when required with zero delay between coffee and foamed milk delivery.
The bean container holds 280g of coffee beans and keeps the beans fresh with an aroma cover. The adjustable multi-level conical grinder delivers consistent results ensuring the coffee is brewed and aroma extracted exactly to your taste. In addition to using any choice of fresh coffee beans, the IMPRESSA Z7 can also prepare specialities with preground coffee to accommodate a wider variety of blends. Adapting to individual taste and coffee strengths is also important - with JURA’s variable brew unit 5 to 16g of coffee can be brewed with every preparation. The coarseness of the coffee grind can be adjusted in addition to the programmable coffee strength levels to allow you complete control. A high performance 15 bar water pump contributes to creating ideal brewing conditions. The cup illumination feature puts the drink on centre stage which, combined with the aroma of fresh coffee, turns the drink into a delight for all senses. Coffee specialities are presented in a warm, amber light and milky specialities in a brilliant, white light. Milky specialities are crafted with an integrated milk frother featuring Fine Foam technology which produces milk foam with a light, creamy consistency. Thanks to the adjustable cappuccino spout even tall glasses can be used to prepare layered latte macchiatos (113 – 153mm).
Wireless technology has also made its way into premium coffee machines. The JURA IMPRESSA Z7 can communicate wirelessly with the JURA Cool Control Wireless (sold separately) which continuously monitors the milk level and displays a prompt on the display when insufficient milk is available for the next drink. The JURA Cool Control accessory keeps fresh milk refrigerated at 4’C, ready for preparation at any time.
The JURA IMPRESSA Z7 features a removable 2.8L water tank within which a CLARIS water filter can be installed. The CLARIS cartridge filters the water before each preparation removing impurities and improving the quality of the water for a perfect cup of coffee. Maintaining the coffee machine is made easy with integrated rinsing, cleaning and descaling programs, completely eliminating the need to remove and clean the brew unit.
The IMPRESSA Z7 boasts impressive energy efficiency features without compromising luxury and excellence. A patented Zero Energy Switch intelligently manages power to the coffee machine, disconnecting the coffee machine entirely from the mains only once any ongoing processes have completed. With Energy Save Mode the coffee machine could be adjusted to adapt to your individual habits and save up to 40% of the energy normally required. To always ensure the coffee machine is switched off automatically, a switch off time of your choice can be programmed.
A 0.6L JURA Stainless Steel Milk Flask is included as standard with the IMPRESSA Z7.

So far I have found it to be exactly as I expected. It works well, it makes beautiful coffee, it's easy to use, and it has been no trouble at all in the six months or more that I've had the machine. For this reason I'm struggling to understand why the other reviewers are so down on the Z7?
Well done again Jura, for a lovely machine. I would recommend these to anyone without hesitation.
Very pleased with machine. I used to use a high end Italian manual pull and appreciate the practice and precision needed by operator for perfect espresso, but I tired of the mess and time spent. I didn't think a one touch would compare but I checked, double checked and finally decided on the Z7 after a year of comparing. Jura's different customer service offices/ resellers knowledge and helpfulness varies as much as beans! Had horrible German service, excellent CS service in US. Since the offices varied so much in service I chose to purchase through warehouse C****co.com, so if there were problems I could return locally since I'm in Alaska. Amazon shipping was too high...& machine savings exceeded $500. Literally filtering through the must have and don't need cleaning and filtering products and finding good price on my beans I use because I'm using much more now since it is sooo easy. Aside from Jura's inconsistent customer service offices I'm VERY pleased and THAT is difficult for a person who has been pulling manual shots for over 15 years to say about a one touch fully auto machine. I opted to not get the TFT display model and adding a weak link. I chose the Z7 with individual buttons and rotary control with simple read out because it does everything well without the extra TFT display. Good luck on your search for your machine, glad I did my homework and wasn't swayed by the subjective negative reviews.
The negative reviews on here must be fake from jealous competitors, because this is I believe the best, easiest to use and own coffee machine on the market.
It's expensive, but it's been worth it and you get what you pay for. Makes beautiful hot (you can control how hot) espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos with wonderfully textured foamed milk. It prompts you when you need to do anything like rinse, or change the filter, but it's easy.
I recommend buying a few filters and cleaning tablets and perhaps an extra milk tube at the same time you buy the machine. The benefit of this machine over something like a Nespresso (which I owned before I bought this) is that YOU choose the coffee, takes any coffee beans, does the grinding, makes the coffee, you just press a button. Buy it.
The machine could never produce a satisfyingly hot espresso, and it's ability to make milky coffee drinks such as lattes and capuccinos was even worse. Barely lukewarm at best, and never a good flavour.
I found it very wasteful of coffee, and it's computer was forever insisting on a rinse or a clean even after just one or two drinks. After a week, I returned this dreadful machine and what a relief that I got my money back.
I bought a Delonghi for about half the price, and it produces wonderful hot coffee, and is much easier to use, to clean, and to maintain.
My advice, stay clear of this overpriced machine - it is simply bad value for money and plain annoying.
the machine uses and wastes far more coffee than is warranted,
my suggestion is to stay clear of this brand, it is like Switzerland, over the top expensive for what you get, if you like cool tepid coffees then buy it but if you are like most of us you like proper hot latte or cappucino then buy another cheaper brand.
