I've moaned a few times about Mia jumping from one bed to the next whilst pining after Wes, but this story is more heartfelt, towards the end you realise how much she has been through: she's had to look after her baby sister since the age of eleven because her mum just took off, she's had to keep bailing her alcoholic father out more times than enough - more so this whole year is because of him!
But it shows that family are not only blood relations, friends are the family you pick and Mia has picked some fantastic ones! Tai and Mason come to her rescue no questions asked, thats true family.
Horrific what happens to her and can't help but feel for all involved - bar Aaron, he deserves so much more than Mason delivered, pity tai didn't get hold of him!!
I was wondering when things might go wrong, I am glad it wasn't as bad as it could have been but the danger is always there.
Some of Mia's past client s have become valuable friends that can be relied n and trusted. Looking forward to see how many more initials are added to the beautiful tattoo and also what the next lesson Mia will learn with her Latino luv-ahh.
So you have Mia who is working as an escort for her aunts company to pay off a debt her father owes or he will be killed. This month’s instalment saw her travel to Washington to pretend to be the arm-candy of the very wealthy Warren Shipley to help him fit in with some of his peers to help get a project off the ground. It seems like an easy enough job to do and while she is there she thinks she could easily pass the time with the man’s son Aaron. Now he came off as a bit smarmy to begin with, knowing he looks good and feeling very privileged thinking that he can get whatever he wants. This all changes at the end of the book however where all you want to do his beat him up along with Mason for what he does to Mia.
Throughout the story you have Mia connecting with some of the men she has been with in the passed months but focusing mainly on Wes – love the saucy texts between them! I think he is the one guy she could see herself with but is too scared to go forward with it – not that she really can with how this year is all planned out. She seems to still have a very close relationship with all the men she has ‘helped’ for the past months and you can see that they will be friends/family for life.
The only issue I had was with what Mia goes through at the end of the book, as I’m not really sure how she can continue with being an escort after it happens.Read more ›

A great read. Am really enjoying the series of books and finding out what each new encounter brings to Mia's journey of self discovery.Published 1 month ago by Miss C.
