This is an extraordinary volume collecting nearly 50 works by Jules Verne and such incredible value for money. I have a few in paperback but I can't imagine anything that will beat this Kindle version for thoroughness, portability and value. The text is well laid-out and there are no errors to be seen. The reader will certainly want to make use of the contents listing in order to navigate the sheer volume of text but that works perfectly. I have already read many of the stories contained within and am looking forward to reading the rest.

HASH(0xa2a9f060) out of 5 stars A fantastic "Jule" of a collection to disco"Verne"! @badwordplay 8 April 2014
By Owen Robinson - Published on Amazon.com

Let me start off by saying, that I am in no way finished with this book.... But honestly, why would I review the actual stories included in this anthology? It's JULES VERNE, of course the stories are going to be great. If you like, or are wanting to read, Jules Verne, you should definitely get this.

Now, what I CAN do is review this anthology, in regards to presentation, formatting, completeness, etc. I have to say, on all fronts, this is a really great collection. It has all of the stories that you want (Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and Around the World in Eighty Days to name a few), and that would be a bargain for the price of this anthology. But there is so much more, 35 novels total, and 9 short stories, plus 1 non-fiction work that I'm very interested in.

This anthology is easy to navigate, and it was the best value of price-to-stories in the anthologies that I looked for. Again, if you're looking for a great collection of Jules Verne's works, this is the obvious choice!

HASH(0xa1672b40) out of 5 stars A 'Must Have' collection from a Master of the Pen. 21 Feb. 2014
By Heather G - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I cut my science fiction teeth on Jules Verne stories when I was younger. His words took me on adventures my feet couldn't, allowing my mind to explore different realities and possibilities than a child could possibly encounter. Some of his most famous works were my bedtime stories. I went around the world in 80 days in the time it took me to fall asleep, I dreamed myself to the center of the earth and I found a time machine in my wildest ponderings.

Those stories followed me throughout my life, tales that I have visited often as the years have gone by, long lost friends that come to say hello and stay for a while. Finding this anthology is the Crème de la Crème of those journeys, a compilation unlike any other. Jules Verne, a veritable god of science fiction, has been compiled and stitched together in other anthologies, his offerings combined in other formats that, while satisfying, lack the seeming completeness of “The Collected Works: The Jules Verne Anthology.” The rest of the title reads as a content advisory, a titillating titbit to stoke your interest; “45 Complete Works, including 29 Voyages Extraordinaires, 6 other Novels, 9 Short Stories and 1 Non-Fiction.”

While my Kindle houses many classic tales by Jules Verne, separate stories available under the public library, this Anthology offered me stories and novels that I have not read. I was chagrined to find just how much of this great Author had slipped me by, including a non-fiction work I had no idea existed. Any fan of science fiction, steampunk or classic tales should pick up this Anthology, especially at this price. It is a ‘can’t be beat’ collection from a fore father that spawned at least a half a dozen different genres.

I already had several Jules Verne novels on my kindle, but when I saw this at this fantastic price, I had to grab it! It's ALL here! From timeless classics like "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" and "Journey to the Center of the Earth", to lesser known short stories and non-fiction works. This complete anthology was most certainly a welcome addition to my library, it will be to yours too!

If you tried to purchase each of these works independently, it would be such an expensive undertaking!

What an amazing collection. There are so many wonderful works of Jules Verne, and they are all right here! I love it, and am simply thrilled! What an enormous undertaking to collect this anthology, then put it all in one work. It had to have taken months to compile and then format! It is so well put together, and I am just absolutely thrilled that I found it!

If you haven't read anything by Jules Verne, get this book, because once you read one of his stories, you'll want to read more. The writing is amazing, and the imagination is beyond anything you could imagine!

I highly recommend!!

HASH(0xa13fd39c) out of 5 stars FOR EVERY JULES VERNE READER!! AMAZING CONTENT!! RIDICULOUS VALUE!! 27 Feb. 2014

Absolutely amazing is the first thing that comes to my mind!

I had NO IDEA that Bybliotech existed until just a few days ago and I almost ashamed to call myself a reader now! Some of the most important works of our time are compiled and ready to go, and oh so very easily…it’s seriously one of the best things I have come by in a VERY LONG TIME!!!

I started with this anthology because, as I said in the header, it contains RIDICULOUS VALUE! I couldn’t believe it when I read the amount of content I got for the insanely low price.

Hours and hours of Jules Verne works at my fingertips for less than three bucks…that’s a no brainer for me!

Now I can share the stories I read growing up with my daughter with absolute ease!

Click, click…masterpiece :) YES PLEASE!

But seriously…and again I suppose, I have to say that Bybliotech is really an amazing setup…you have to check them out on the web ASAP. The amount of content that is available to zap right on to my Kindle is RIDICULOUS!

I will be recommending this piece to all of my friends and family….and I will definitely be bringing this up at our next book club get-together as well.

FIVE STARS FOR SURE

HASH(0xa1646e04) out of 5 stars A Wonderful Collection! 20 Jan. 2014

I remember the first time I read Jules Verne was when I was 9 and I got swept up in the fantastical adventure known as "Journey to the Center of the Earth". As a little girl I was unbelievably caught up in the new world the characters discovered and the fast-paced adventure they trekked on as they found themselves deep within the Earth with a promise of danger and excitement around every corner. Since then, I have been a huge fan of the author so I was eager to get this collection and get swept up in my favorites once again as well as to uncover works of his I'd never read before. The anthology collection in wonderfully expansive with so many novels, short stories and other works that I find myself with so much to read and so little time! I actually couldn't believe I got such a large anthology for such a sweet price. Overall, this is a great choice for longtime fans of Jules Verne or newbies who are looking to get introduced to this amazing writer.
