Well, that is the way to spend an afternoon!
I just love a man with a filthy mouth, and I am darn sure you will too by the time Jude is finished with you.
There was a hint in the first book of the series (Riddick) that there was a little more having gone on behind the scenes between Vivian and Jude and the author doesn’t make you linger long before she tells all. Jude picks up right where Riddick left off and while this is a standalone, I don’t think it would do you any harm to read book one if you haven’t already.
Although Vivian made her decision and is standing by it, that doesn’t mean things are easy, especially when she is faced with working with Jude again. But what makes things even more complicated is the fact that this time Jude isn’t willing to take the situation lying down anymore, he knows he has to remedy what happened and nothing is going to stand in his way, not even Vivian.
It was amusing to watch this feisty, independent woman fight the inevitability of her situation because no matter how much she thought she could keep Jude at arms-length… the reality of the situation was something entirely different. I liked Vivian but I loved Jude and I have to admit that I was egging him on all the way.
Vivian wanted to believe that she could have the normal, the white picket fence and kids but her normal didn’t come in the shape she thought it would, her normal came in the guise of a rough around the edges cop who not only speaks out of turn but puts his foot in his mouth while he’s at it. But when he put his mind to it, he had every part of me swooning, this guy was fabulous. Yep he made mistakes yep he said things he shouldn’t but was it going to cost them both a shot at being happy?

Jude Westbrooke not only hurt me with words he can never take back, but he ruined my traitorous body for another man.

Jude continues where Riddick left off so if you haven't read the first book in The Saints series I recommend you read that first. Jude could be read as a stand alone but these are a close group knit of men and a family and to get the broader picture of the lives of Jude and Vivian read Riddick first with Cora and Riddick's story and Jude and Vivian's involvement and how it has lead to there story.

Jude is a narcotics cop ex forces along with his friends Riddick and Tyson. Alpha males with big hearts but all at some point in there lives have women problems.

Riddick is now facing his happily ever after but Jude, oh Jude messed up big time with Vivian.

"I'm claiming what should have been mine all along. Stand back and enjoy the ride , people, because I'm about to show her the man she walked away from."

Jude completely redeems himself in this book and just when you think Vivian and Jude are on there way to steady ground it becomes a read with suspense and mystery when Jude begins to get threats and the guys begin to investigate the stalker that has become desperate and protection and high alert is in order for Jude who wants to protect his girl.

Jude lost Vivian once he has no intention's of letting her go again.

Another brilliant, hot and intense read yet again from Kathy Coopmans, I love these guys and with tasters of Tyson's love life and his heartache I am also looking forward to that too.

OMFG!!! Where do i start with this review?... i have been waiting patiently (yeah not quite so patiently) to read this book... basically as soon as i finished Riddick!!!
This is Jude and Vivian's story... and what a story it is!!!
Without giving away spoilers... we find out what they were both hiding... and wow!!!
With twists and turns throughout... can Jude finally get his girl? Will she ever forgive him? All the answers are within the pages of this book and i truly recommend everyone NOT TO MISS OUT!!! You really do need to read this book ASAP!!!
Ms Coopmans has yet again kicked ass... I seriously could not put it down and was up all night until i had finished!!!
A brilliant story in every way and a passion that burns so damn hot... it will leave you utterly breathless and panting!!!... including a huge twist that will have you on the edge of your seat... screaming at the pages!!!
I can't wait to discover what she has planned for the next in series... i just know it's going to be explosive!!!

This is the second in The Saints series and it does not disappoint! I have to say at the beginning of this book I did want to junk punch Jude!

The book takes off where Riddick finished and you are thrown into the drama straight away. Jude and Vivian have a lot of healing to do after the events at the end of Riddick, Vivian has taken time away to heal from all the wounds the past few months have given her. When she returns home she has to face Jude. While Jude wants to put the past events behind them and move on he finds it hard to while dealing with a very current situation that needs to be dealt with. The book is very fast paced and emotionally charged and I thoroughly enjoyed it and I am so looking forward to the next one!
