I did enjoy the read but I can’t help but think that some sections would benefit from some editing and de-cluttering. I understand that this is a common result for any kind of stream of consciousness or honest writing, but as a reader it is something that stood out to me several times.
In summary, I’m glad I gave the book a chance and would be interested in seeing more by the author – but I can imagine a book of this nature would be a very ‘hit’ or ‘miss’ type of read for some people.
Hugely satisfying however, unsure whether it's because I know the author or not, but a particular event in this book a journey through the mountains - John Robinson, will stay with me forever, I'll give you a clue it's in regards to John's father.
Within this read, perfect for a good long journey, random buyers take heed - you will come across an aggressive form of communication which is often a forceful style which is impressive and I kid you not, although John practically held me at gun point to do this review I'd ask that you buy his book because life's made up of random things to do and be done.
Congratulations John, you young man with a mental investment. Keep investing.
