I'm way, way to young to have heard it the first time round. I bought this boxed set on a whim and I'm very glad that I did. Over 20 hours of wonderfully old-fashioned, wordy and utterly glorious radio!

All three adventures are well written and the radio broadcasts are are well produced. The stories unfold in the best "Dan Dare" fasion with sufficient plot twists to keep any listeners hooked. With a total listening time of over 20 hours, the boxed trilogy is excellent value for money and proves that there was life before television. A must for every sci-fi fan.
