Product description

Product Description

This DVD is about children, teachers and schools and how they learn to think together. It is is an introduction to Philosophy for Children through the eyes of children in ten schools in Swansea and Cardiff. What do the children say about philosophy? Philosophy is like going to a disco, except your mind dances instead of your feet. It's like a dive into a whole new world. You can go to places you can't go in reality. In 'A Journey Into Children's Minds', we find out what questions the children want to ask. We also hear the voices of head teachers and teachers who have introduced philosophy into their classrooms. They tell us about the impact philosophy has had on them and their children. We hope you enjoy the film and are inspired to take up Philosophy for Children in your school.
