Format: Paperback
This is one of the most ill referenced, lazily researched biographies I have ever read. There is no explanation of WHY or HOW Ross has done anything, nothing is probed in any depth whatsoever and the entire book reads as if written by a 4 year old 'and then he did this and then he did that...'. When detailing Ross' brief seperation from his wife it says "his wife moved out, then moved back in a month later" without thinking to give any explanation of why this happened, or even suggesting to the reader that they tried to find out but could not.

The author not only neglects to fact check but he neglects to keep what he writes consistent, has JR won 1 British Comedy Award or 2?

The author cannot count; after establishing Ross has a house in London and one in Florida, he says the family have bought a countryside retreat "which makes the ideal 2nd home".

The photos provided are mostly publicity photos sprinkled with pictures taken from tabloid newspapers, and the few interesting facts are gleamed from other people's autobiographies (notably Piers Moron's).

The author leaves no explanation of his own background or his own qualifications to write such a book, but I suppose no-one who has penned "Jade: Story of a Survivor" would want their CV put in print.

That said, please buy my copy which is available 2nd hand now...
