John Waterhouse is a playwright and author based in Poynton, Cheshire.
John's plays and murder mysteries have been performed all over the North of England and as far afield as America, Luxembourg and Portugal. His work is largely inspired by travel experiences and his own theatre company is Casagua Productions. John is a huge fan of 60's and 70's British comedy including The Carry On films, Peter Sellers, Peter Cook, Frankie Howard and Tony Hancock.
John also loves thrillers and his own novels are mainly romantic thrillers with favourite authors including Alastair Maclean, Dan Brown and Frederick Forsythe. When not writing, John can often be found hiking in the Peak District or further afield. John is also a keen skier.
