Triple bill of teen comedies. In 'John Tucker Must Die' (2006), John Tucker (Jesse Metcalfe) is the big man on campus at his high school; he's the captain and star player of the basketball team, he's got money, he's good-looking and charming, and he can have any girl he wants. However, the latter attribute is about to get him in serious trouble when three different girls at his school - Heather (Ashanti), Beth (Sophia Bush) and Carrie (Arielle Kebbel) - discover they've all been dating John at the same time. Determined to bring down the campus ladykiller, the girls devise a plan - they pick a cute but socially clumsy girl who is new at school, Kate (Brittany Snow), and give her a crash course in stealing John's heart. Once Kate has John wrapped around her little finger, she's supposed to drop him like a bad habit and give him a taste of what heartbreak is really like. However, it seems that the early stages of the plan work a little too well, and John and Kate end up falling for each other for real. In 'My Super Ex-Girlfriend' (2006), when Matt Saunders (Luke Wilson) meets Jenny Johnson (Uma Thurman), he thinks he's found the perfect girl. However, he decides to break things off with her when she becomes too needy, controlling, and jealous. Jenny doesn't take it well and decides to get back at him by using her superpowers, as it turns out Jenny is a superhero named G-Girl. Meanwhile, Matt and his co-worker, Hannah (Anna Faris) start to have a romance with each other which sends Jenny over the edge. Finally, in 'Just My Luck' (2006), Ashley (Lindsay Lohan) has always been the sort of girl fortune smiles upon - she's pretty, she has a great job, she has good friends, guys fall over themselves to ask her out, and she never has trouble getting a cab. Jake (Chris Pine), on the other hand, is not nearly so lucky - he's clumsy and accident prone, things never seem to go his way, and he's just lost his job at a bowling alley. However, these two opposites meet one night at a ritzy masquerade ball, and Ashley and Jake exchange an impulsive kiss as two shooting stars cross in the sky. Suddenly, they both find their luck taking a one hundred and eighty degree turn.

Just my luck is by far the best movie here - shows the difference in how people live whether they're rich or poor and shows that you can be happy either way etc
John Tucker must die - hilarious
My Super Ex Girlfriend - so so so funny! lots of fab actors.
new price - get real. Used made this seem good val for money.
not really familiar with any of these films - yes I do live in a bubble.
JT must die - very few laughs all seemed very predictable and formulaic - if you like that knock yourself out. the comedy side was about the right balance but what there was weak, seen it before humour.
Just My Luck - Lohan vehicle - never knew much about her before - still don't - I do know one more thing. The more I know about her the less I get why she is as famous as she is. - minimal talent looks charm or personality as far as I can see. Who know maybe she knows some famous people.
As vehicle goes I wish she'd been hit by this one. The only clever thing in the whole film is if they keep swapping luck when they kiss and they end up together isn't this going to go on and on..... yet they solve it nicely. otherwise a dog of a movie.
My Super Ex... good cast Thurman plays psychotic... sorry that should be neurotic, well Faris - well I used to like her - but she seems to be less talented than I originally thought. I thought she might be a slow burner but it seems she has just one speed and she's sticking to it - hey if it works for that's fine by me. Anyhow the film was entertaining and saved the whole DVD. So happy endings all round. Hurrah.
In summary - my super ex saves the dvd and at the used price made it a reasonable buy. I trust the company I buy my used ones from. High satisfaction percentage and millions of sales. I wont name them cuz I'm sure they'd blush and that may make people think this a paid for ad for them and it's not.
ACID TEST: would I buy it/watch it again or recommend it? - well the my super ex but that's all.
I really enjoyed all the films but 'John Tucker Must Die' was my favourite, I bought this for that film and the others were just a bonus.
