Many grammatical and spelling errors, which is pretty inexcuseable. I did not like the style of writing, the author expressed emotions and feelings to the subjects in the book to which he could only guess at. It seemed part fictional part documentary. If you want an excellent book on The Beatles story, for what I have read so far, you will find Hunter Davies's book, The Authorised Biography, hard to beat.

Having been a fan of the Beatles from day one I found this book very informative but felt the demise and removal of Pete Best could have been explained more but other than that this was an amazing roller coaster ride, thank you.

Loved the book as got so much information about the early life of John.Painted him as not a very nice person though which slightly annoyed me as have always adored the man.
