When the product arrived I used it straight away and couldn't wait to see the results.
This dye is by for my favourite colour I've used so far and I am pleased. I would prefer if it wasn't foam, but it still did the job and the result was lovely.
Although the colour was amazing, it didn't last that long. Still beautiful for a while though :D
It was quick and easy to use with the foam that did not drip and so for the first time ever, I've not ended up with discoloured ears and the area around my sideburns. The colour did take extremely well on my grey, turning a lovey dark burgundy colour and in the sun, this picks up even more. On the blacker parts of my hair, I got more sheen than outright colour, but again, in the sun it looks redder. I normally use a product that's formulated for dark hair, as I don't want to strip my colour to be able to put on a colour and whilst colour does take fairly well with specialist products, I was particularly pleased that this brand, which is not specifically for darker hair, did pretty well.
The thing that I find is that because I wash my hair daily, colour fades fast. I do have some leftover specialist shampoo that I've used for a week, but already the colour is fading. I know not to use a major anti-dandruff brand of shampoo, as it strips colour from hair (handy when a dye-job hasn't gone to plan), but even with conditioning on top, the colour won't last more than a couple of weeks at best.
Still, for a budget item, it's not bad.
The precision foam covers grey very effectively and easily, even at the neckline, but you do need to take care to wipe off excess foam on your skin with a damp cloth, particularly the ears, as there may be some staining. The staining does come out of your skin, but you may need to wash a couple of times to get it off, hence wiping off the foam before the developing starts. For this reason I think I would also dye my hair a couple of days before a special event to be sure that any skin staining is removed.
They are new mousses to add a lively colour to your hair. A deeper, more vibrant colour.
DOES IT WORK
It's a permanent colour which I thought was deep, but vivid enough.
It is a foam. A foamy liquid. It's OK. It makes it a little easier to apply.
I found the vividness lasted quite a while.
Adds a vivid colour and is permanent. OK value too.
The foam style was easy to use and I got a pretty even coverage with it and not too much mess.
I sectioned my hair to make sure that I got colourant on the underneath section of my hair and set to colouring, this took around 15/25 mins to do but is well worth it as the coverage is much better and more even by doing so.
It was quick, taking only 20 mins to develop and the colour was rich and shiny, in the sun the red really "sparkles".
It covered my grey well and my colour had life to it, rather than being flat and dull.
It loses a star because I did get quite a bit of staining on my scalp, hairline and tops of my ears.

I'm not convinced by foam formulation hair colour: this seemed to drip far more on me than conventional colour. The shade itself is a dark browny-red, not really burgundy at all. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Roman Clodia
