As I have permed hair the serum is a must have for me to enable me to keep the curls that cost me so much looking good.
I generally put a few drops in my hair after washing which aids removing the tangles and helps define the curls.
I also add a tiny bit once I have dried my hair with a diffuser just to calm it slightly.
The reason I have given this extra strength serum three stars is I don't actually see any difference between this and the usual serum I use from this range in the red casing.
I have made comparisons by putting a few drops of both on the palm of my hand and nothing is evident to me.
When I use it on my hair again I don't see much of a difference if any,
Perhaps it is thicker or has wondrous hidden properties but I don't see them and as such whilst I think it is still a great John Frieda product it seems to me to be the same as the other.
I won't be rushing to put this one on my shopping list over the current one I use.
