John Bantin decided to take a year off from the British advertising industry, where he had enjoyed success in the '80s as a photographer and film director, to go scuba diving. One thing led to another and he soon became a diving instructor swiftly followed by the position of Technical Editor to Diver Magazine in the UK. He has written thousands of articles about all aspects of scuba diving for that magazine since and some of these have also been published in the USA, Scandinavia and Australia.During this time he has travelled all over the world to dive in a wide variety of places. During the past 20 years he has collected a large number of experiences, not all of which have been good, made thousands of high quality photographs underwater, appeared on television and radio and made friends with hundreds of active divers. It's always been his pleasure to share his experiences with others.
