The quest to experience the supernatural has been the earmark of Jodee Best's life for over 35 years. After her own conversion to Christianity in the mid 70's, she soon witnessed her family of seven transform from cowboys to radical born-again believers in Jesus Christ. Soon they were all involved in music and prison ministry, and after her father's ordination and appointment as jail chaplain, she helped disciple formerly violent offenders serving long term sentences. Her deepest desire to experience all of the reality of God led her on mission trips to inner city Chicago and central Mexico where she saw supernatural provision and healings.
In 1994, during the height of the Toronto Outpouring, at the Passion for Jesus conference, Kansas City, she had a life changing encounter with Jesus and was personally called to overseas mission. Leaving the US in 1995 with one suitcase and a few hundred dollars in her pocket, she became based in England as a Minister of Religion.
Over the past 17 years she has been privileged to work with at-risk children in the community; helped administrate the building of a school and orphanage in India; lead several mission teams to Bulgaria and Belarus, and develop various missions outreaches in the UK. She has been interviewed on radio programs and television in the UK and mainland Europe and written and co-produced newsletters and articles for charitable organisations as well as four published novels in a series available on Amazon in several countries. She now lives in a quaint village outside Nottingham with her husband, 7 year old daughter, the goldfish, chickens and a King Charles Cavalier spaniel named Dixie.
