We saw this musical 3 times while it was in Manchester. It's fantastic! It sets a new level of quality using stage, screen & projections to show what happening in various parts of the set. The songs... Jim Steinman meant for Bat out of Hell to be a stage show and now it is!
From the very first shows fans were saying that a Case recording is needed so people can get their fix when the show moves on and finally, once it got to Toronto, Canada the cast recording was released & it's been worth the wait.
Anyone wanting to see this - it's coming back to London April next year and tickets are already on sale. Highly recommendable show & CD.

Waited nearly 40 years for this fantastic album and Steinman's songs to make the stage, first saw Meat Loaf perform Live at Hamersmith Odeon Bat Out Hell Concert in 1979 and every show after in London, this show at the Dominion Theatre lived up to all my expectations, great cast, great acting, great singing, Jim Steinman has amazing vision,best story teller ever you just get lost in performance watching the songs being acted out and coming to live, will have to see the show again it's that good, so much is happening on stage and the sound is out of this world!
CD brings back all the memory's.

Having seen the show twice in fairly quick succession, and being totally addicted to it, has left me feeling disappointed that it has now finished it's run in London and I didn't start attending much earlier. Bought this genuine show double CD hoping to recover some of the magic! It far transcends that, it's absolutely brilliant. I can put on my head phones, turn up the volume, lie back and be transported right back there to the show. Only thing missing is the wonderful stage work of course, but the music CD is fab....
Would recommend to anyone who has seen the show, loved it and wants to relive the superb music as sung by the original cast.

Bat Out Of Hell is one of the finest musicals I have seen this year with amazing performances by all cast members (who appear on this CD). I’ve been waiting for a cast recording for months! Unfortunately the show isn’t running again until 2018. But at least I can blast this beauty out at home in the time being!
