These picks are great I play Guitar and Bass and these are my bass playing picks I normally use Jazz III's for my guitar playing but for bass I need something a bit more chunky.
These are 1.14mm and are just the right thickness for me when playing the bass they are thick enough not to bend while your playing even when pounding on the low E string with heavy fast riffs and thin enough not to feel like your holding a door stop in your hand while playing.
The price is super cheap, getting twelve picks for under a fiver is amazing.
They are also in a cool purple colour which is great if you manage to drop one on stage or wherever you are playing as they can be easily found unlike black picks.
All in all these will always be my bass playing picks and have been used live and for recording and have never let me down ever.
Highly recommend.

I have always been a fan of Dunlop picks and a couple of years back I bought a selection pack of different sizes and shapes to find the best (for me). These are the ones for me! They have the correct grip, thickness/rigidity and shape (in terms of being able to pick fast but accurately) and buying them in a pack means that I can now always have one to hand.

I remember these being pink but I think that's the 1.15. You can't go wrong here really, I use these for my bass and I do get through them quickly from general ware down but these work great in avoidance to that. I lose them a lot too leaving me to give up and go back to finger picking but these are a great amount for the money so you'll have enough spares. The quality is great too.

Different guitar players use plectrums with different thickness, sizes and shapes. It's all onto individual preferences and musical needs. I play with few different picks depending on guitars, strings and music. For instance, thin one for strumming rhythm on acoustic guitars. But when I rock with my electric guitar on Di'Addario Super Light Gauge (009-042) Nickel Wound stings and sometimes Ernie Ball, 1.14mm thick triangular plectrum is what I need. Then I can play with lot of ease. Brands didn't matter before. But these exact Dunlop Totex 1.14 purple ones are what I've been using for long time now and I feel very very comfortable holding, gripping, hitting chords and throwing solos. I keep dozens of them in my gig bag, wallet and jeans as I always lose them. Guitarists' problem if you know what I mean. Wherever I see these ones, I just buy at least one. I stopped looking elsewhere. \,,/,

I purchased these plectrums hoping for a good grip feel when playing for extended periods of time. While I have yet to drop one, the tortex logo does seem to offer as much grip as I was expecting. Playing wise, the Dunlop quality and feel is there.

Plectrums are a very personal choice so theres no good or bad pick, just some you like and some you don't. This is a thick pick which wont flex while strumming or playing lead. This probably means its not for a beginer as it will ping out of your hand if you hit the strings to hard. If you can control it then you will get a better range of dynamics, everything from soft playing to very hard. You can really dig in to the strings with this which you cant do with softer picks. The tortex gives it a slightly better grip then the smoother ones. I have used these for years and love them, give it a go and see what you think.

I ordered the wrong pics for my son as I was supposed to order the tortex III plectrums. They were cheaper than anywhere else and were delivered quickly.
These are still useful as a back up and I'm sure I'll be finding them all over the house.

I like this product because they are just what I wanted. I use alot of picks and loose quite a few in my travels.
they are reasonable priced so I can replace them easily, they are good quality and I would reccommend them.
