5.0 out of 5 stars A man who should never be forgotten 21 Jun. 2012
By Scott Blake - Published on
Format: Hardcover
A previous reviewer wrote that Jim Clark was in his opinion the second greatest racing driver of all time behind only Mario Andretti. I believe that Clark was the best. I agree with that reviewer's opinion of this book. Because Graham Gauld was a good friend of Clark, reading this book made me feel that I was getting information on Clark that could not be written by anyone who was not a friend of the legendary driver. Anyone who is interested in auto racing history should read this book. In my youth, my interest in Formula 1 was equal to my interest in baseball and that was solely because of Jim Clark. For those who are too young to have seen Clark race, it is a loving look at a true legend whose exploits are still vividly remembered and written about over 40 years after his death.
