Triple bill of workout programmes presented by Jillian Michaels. 'Ripped in 30' contains a series of exercise routines designed to get the viewer in shape in 30 days. Each of the four workouts detailed by Michaels features her trademark '3-2-1 interval system': three minutes of strength training, followed by two minutes of cardio and a minute of working on the abs. 'Killer Buns and Thighs' is designed to help the viewer firm up their buttocks and thighs. The three workouts included are tailored to fit the needs of those of all abilities, from beginners to keep fit addicts, and are designed to obtain speedy results. 30 day shred is easy (not this product but same girl)
Ripped in 30 is the best.
Extreme shed shred is good but takes an hour and i don't look as good as when i do ripped in 30!
Not done killer buns yet!
I have been doing a combination of Jillian's DVD for three months and I have lost a stone in weight and have muscle definition for the first time in years. I enjoy being able to do exercise at home when it suits me, the exercises are in short circuits so even when it feels too difficult to continue, you move on to another section and recover. Her instruction technique is great as she continually instructs and you can follow the two people behind her, sometimes one of them will carry out beginner versions so that if you can't do the more difficult ones initially, you can at least take part until you are fit enough to increase to the harder exercises.
I started off doing 30+ minutes at least 3 or 4 times a week and I still do it about 3 times a week for 45 minutes to an hour combining sometimes two different dvd's (Ripped in 30 and Yoga Meltdown).
I needed something to challenge me enough so that I felt fit enough to move onto Sean T's insanity workouts and Jillian'dvd did that. In particular the ripped in 30 and shred workouts.
Insanity is not easy and at a much faster pace for longer and if you want to build your fitness for the next big challenge Jillian's workouts help you to get there!
Haven't got to Killer Buns or Extreme Shed but looking forward to it. I'm sure it will be as good as ripped in 30.
