The current loudspeaker in western society declares that same -sex parenting is equally as good, and perhaps even better, than traditional parenting, but this book - written and edited by two scholars who were raised by same sex parents - challenges that confident declaration with many discomforting stories, with facts, and with well considered comment. This book speaks on behalf of the children and as I read through the chapters it was hard to avoid the realisation that a great deception is taking place with serious consequences down the line.

Begs the question, how is it being allowed to happen?. Are people just blissfully unaware ? "Human Rights " and "equality" are being used just to promote a minority agenda.

An essential read that challenges the current uncritical approach to same sex parenting. It ought to have a more widespread media presence although I suspect that it will be suppressed by the LBGT lobby despite the simple incontrovertible truth of the accounts contained. There is clear evidence that same sex parenting causes deep emotional, mental and social damage to children that cannot be dismissed by the puerile assertions that 'they do as well in maths' etc.

These accounts are not made by some warped religious extremists but come from first hand experience of some 70 or so children who have had to grow up in a same sex parental environment and have then documented their feelings as adults. Some of the accounts are harrowing and some very poignant. Several myths are exposed through the course of the accounts and just these accounts alone ought to serve to stop all child placement in same sex environments until a more thorough investigation is undertaken by independent professionals who do not have a vested interest.
