About the Author
Dianne Venetta lives in Central Florida with her husband and two children--and her part-time Yellow Lab (Cody!). An avid gardener, she spends her spare time growing organic vegetables. Surprised by the amazing discoveries she finds there every day, she wondered, "Who knew there were so many similarities between men and plants?" What began as a brief hiatus from writing has blossomed into an ever-expanding home garden and blog at BloominThyme.com -- stop by and share some tips! When she's not knee-deep in dirt or romance, Dianne contributes garden advice (challenged!) for various websites (a crazy existence to be sure). But at the end of the day, if she can inspire someone to stop and smell the roses--or rosemary!--kiss their child and spouse good-night, be kind to a neighbor and Mother Earth, then she's done all right.

I didn't warm to Jennifer until about a third of the way into the book. She's stuck up, has her life pretty much planned out, and can be plain rude. But the more I read, the more I understood her and why she was this way inclined and on the occasions she lets her barriers down she is a lovely person. Jackson is the complete opposite, laid back, kind and thoughtful and their interactions make great reading. Sam, Jennifer's best friend is funny, witty, doesn't hold her opinions back and generates many of the moments in the book that made me smile.
Shall definitely be reading the next book in the series.
I could relate to the bond between mother and child.I had a great bond with my mum too.
I suppose most readers can relate to that part.
Max sounded devine, what a shame I if she had missed out.
However,Sam had the correct idea and kept Jennifer on track.
Small edit: "said your peace" should be "piece".
