Janet Peters (Registered Psychologist, NZPsS) has been working in the mental health field in New Zealand for over 20 years. She is dedicated to enabling people to be better prepared to talk about mental health problems and solutions. As a child, Janet had a parent with mental health issues. She writes from her personal experience. She lives in Mount Maunganui in the beautiful, sunny Bay of Plenty.
