I could not imagine that anyone else besides Wodehouse could possibly write anything like this, but this is wonderful. A great read and a a great ending to the series. Now, how about Blandings?

More than a pastiche; barely a false note; complicated plot(s) and resolution up to the standard of the Master, although He would never have allowed Bertie to commit matrimony, nor would Jeeves. However, I am reconciled. Congratulations, Mr Faulks, you may, indeed must, rest on your Wodehousian laurels.

Stepping back in time with this wonderfully written storyline. Sebastian Faulks brings back this nostalgic era with panache.......and fab language!

I was impressed by how well Sebastian Faulks was able to write in the style of P G Wodehouse as it is not his normal genre at all. His story was as amusing as the original ones. I chuckled lots.

Charming, heart-warming and hilarious, it blends seamlessly with the rest of the Jeeves and Wooster series. It must be difficult to imitate the style of another writer but I'd say Faulks has nailed it!

Very good, very good writing, could have been the old man himself. Lovely story and as always leaves you feeling content with the world.

Some genuinely funny, laugh out loud moments, in this authentically written novel. Definitely a read for fans of Wodehouse or those of Faulks.

Brilliant job by Faulks. While the loft standard of PGW's prose is out of reach only slightly just. A very nice addition to the tales of Jeeves and Wooster.

Could have been a sacrilegious disaster but is actually charming and true to the original books, with a little twist.
