About the Author

R​oland Kipke ist promovierter Philosoph sowie Autor und Herausgeber mehrerer wissenschaftlicher Bücher. Die Frage nach Wesen und Zukunft der Demokratie treibt ihn seit langem um, das politische Geschäft hat er durch seine Arbeit im Deutschen Bundestag und in verschiedenen NGOs aus nächster Nähe erlebt. Nach akademischen Stationen an der Charité Berlin und in Tübingen forscht und lehrt er jetzt an der Katholischen Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. Neben der Demokratie befasst er sich vor allem mit Fragen der Ethik und Bioethik. Roland Kipke lebt mit seiner Familie in Tübingen. --This text refers to the hardcover edition.
