About the Author

Kate Harrad woke up one morning in 2011 wondering what Pride and Prejudice would be like if Elizabeth and Darcy were Edmund and Miss Darcy. Since then she has published a genderswitched version of the classic called Prejudice and Pride, written for the Guardian on the subject, and has published extra stories on her own site, kateharrad.co.uk. Kate is a London-based writer and blogger whose first novel, All Lies and Jest, was published by Ghostwoods Books in 2011. She's also a parent, feminist, and enthusiastic party organiser.

Format: Kindle Edition
Thus is an interesting concept anthology and is enjoyable to read, but is spoiled by a multitude of inconsistencies in editing which break the flow of the stories. It could be greatly improved by greater attention to consistency in the switching of genders and more rigorous proof reading.

HASH(0x911dedc8) out of 5 stars Interesting concept, fell short. 3 Jan. 2014

Fell short of all expectations. Author shouldn't have relied upon software to reconstruct stories, he should have composed them from the beginning.
