HASH(0x8fbed114) out of 5 stars Another great story of wonder by Alexander Key! 21 Feb. 2015

I found this story to be quite entertaining and fairly similar to Key's The Forgotten Door. That book was a childhood favorite of mine and in my opinion a classic/masterpiece. Jagger comes from a much nicer place than our Earth, and his horrified amazement at our human tendencies toward violently fearful reactions to anyone/anything outside our norms, is an effective teaching mechanism for a better morality. I found Jagger's perspective a little less engaging than Jon's in The Forgotten Door, and the ending was rather abrupt as well, hence four and not five stars.

So good. I wish I'd found this book as a child. I loved dog stories and the Alexander Key book I did own (The Forgotten Door.) I would have read this book so many times. I'm so glad Key's books are on KU now. Do yourself or your children a favor and read this one!!
HASH(0x90b5d804) out of 5 stars loved this classic book! 25 Aug. 2014

Loved this classic sci-fi book. I rediscovered it on Amazon and decided it was time to revisit Jagger and friends. Though some of the dialogue is somewhat dated at this time, the heart of the story remains as relevant and true today as when it was written in the 1970s.

I have read many wonderfully good books, like Harry Potter, Warriors, etc. Thus book was so good, I like it equal to all those books. It has do much adventure, plot twists, you just get sucked in. The money is worth it.
