Jack Dixon was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and lived there until he enlisted as a linguist in US Air Force intelligence. After his enlistment, he pursued a career in logistics management that allowed him to travel extensively throughout the United States, and eventually to Ireland.
After Ireland, he turned to writing, a lifelong aspiration. His first novel, The Pict, won several awards, including Honorable Mention for Fiction at the 2007 London Book Festival, the 2008 Eric Hoffer Book Award (Notable) for the General Fiction category, and the 2007 iUniverse Book Reviews Award for Cover Design.
Jack published his second novel, Jerusalem Falls, in April, 2012. He lives in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
