JACK & COKE : UNCERTAIN SAINTS MC # 2
LANI LYNN VALE
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

OMFG what a brilliant story!!! I totally loved every single thing about it...
Mig is a DEA cop and also a patched member of the Uncertain Saints MC. At 34 he has been trapped into a marriage with a baby on the way, to a woman who is a massive bitch... With a capital B!!!
Annie owns her own massage/hair business and is good friends with Mig. Her ex husband is an ass and is causing her problems, that Mig is helping with.
As their feelings become clear and friendship grows into more, what is going to happen? Will Mig come to his senses before he looses everything he ever wanted?
With twists and turns throughout the book, it will keep you reading, and not wanting to stop! With a plot that will leave you breathless and shocked... Will things finally get sorted? Will they eventually get their HEA? Or will a spiteful ex wife pull them apart forever? With an energy that is electric, their pull will drag you into the story and leave you wanting more!!! I am desperate to know what Ms Vale has planned for next in series, and at a guess from me... It's gonna be mind blowing!!!

This was quite different, the usual alpha male type, Mig, trapped into a marriage, the different is the how.
The way this unfolds is brilliant. The bitch and extremely manipulative wife and the girl next door are very separate until Mig can't go on anymore.
It's so worth a read. It's written well and the characters are absorbing. The supporting characters are interesting too and you can see who'll be next up in the series.
Again it's not really a biker book, although they belong to a club but it is interesting.
I think this is more like the authors earlier work that I really liked.

As always this book was well written; however I just couldn't warm to it, the characters felt shallow flat and I wasn't able to connect with them, and they were nowhere near as entertaing as her characters in previous series. I struggled with this story in a really big way, so much so I had to put it down and come back to it. I can honestly say although this book is well written, I disliked it immensely. I know some readers will disagree with my review however Please bring back the characters that made me laugh.

Wow Lani Lynn has done it again. Annie and Mig are just brilliant together. Annie is a total cook and says what comes into her head and just makes you burst out laughing. Mig is so serious but Annie gets under his skin and makes him smile. His wife is pure poison and got pregnant by drugging and raping him. The extent of his wife's poisonous character comes out in this book and it's a roller coaster ride. Brilliantly written and majorly gripping. Well worth 5 stars

My drink of choice which just happens to be Jack and Coke, an author that if she wrote the phone book I would read and a rare day to myself and I was ready to indulge, I mean what is there not to love about that scenario…well let me tell you, not a da*n thing!
Those that know me know that I am an absolute bookwh**e when it comes to Lani Lynn Vale’s books – I’m addicted to her sexy a**ed alpha males and Mig was yet another one to add to my list, boy that guy had brooding down to a fine art.
But ladies, take my word for it you need to get yourself acquainted.
I was a little wary of the storyline at first because from the blurb I thought the story might have had a love triangle going on but I couldn’t have been further from the truth because when it comes to the situation between Mig and his skanky a**ed wife, there were many words that could have been used to describe the situation and love was not and never could be one of them.
I didn’t understand how he could stand to be around her let alone marry the witch but when all is revealed and I think I fell a little harder, the guy was just fabulous. So honourable in the face of what must have been complete disgust for the woman he felt he had no option but to share his home with. But his domestic situation was playing havoc with his heart because it had its eye set on Annie but with the domestic situation and what I can only describe as a solid moral fortitude neither of them were willing to step across the line into an affair, they are friends albeit with the most amazing attraction to each other but they don’t cheat and I was thankful for that, it’s not something I find that I can tolerate in a story.
